Library of Formatting Examples

The following examples show how to format italic text. Since this is the most common type of inline markup, they also discuss the placement of inline markup in general.

Before reviewing these examples, make sure your are familiar with the sections of the Formatting Guidelines on Italics and Placement of Inline Formatting Markup.
