Correctly formatted text

Accept my thanks for the honor of your invitation,
and believe me, dear Sir,

/*
Faithfully yours,

Charles Sumner.
*/

/#
A. W. Harvey, Esq.

Signature blocks

Enclose the signature area in no-wraps; left-justify all of its lines. Since there's extra white space between "Faithfully yours," and "Charles Sumner", leave a blank line in the text.

"A. W. Harvey, Esq." is in a smaller font than the letter or signature, so mark it separately, using Block quotes. If it had been in the same font size, we would include it in the same no-wraps as the signature area.
