"Gesperrt" refers to text that is spaced-out for emphasis. The rules for formatting gesperrt are the same as for boldface, including the placement of punctuation. Gesperrt is most common in German language and blackletter projects, but does occur elsewhere occasionally. We mark this spaced out text with <g>...</g> tags.
